Following their success in being selected by the Energy Saving Trust to become the area’s ‘Green Community’ Transoco is beginning its new initiative with the first in a series of talks.
This is part of a big push to get homes insulated in Corsham, Box, Lacock and Colerne with a special community led insulation scheme, Keep Corsham Community Cosy.TUESDAY 9 FEBRUARY, 7.30pm at THE POUND, CORSHAM
One in a series of OPEN TALKS hosted by Transition Community Corsham. Launched in
2009, TransCoCo is committed to making a difference to the Corsham Community Area and the wider world as we confront the challenges
of climate change. The evening will start with a brief synopsis of what TransCoCo has achieved in it’s first year. Lucie Davis from Severn Wye Energy Agency will
give a talk on the TARGET 2050 project, which aims to show how we can transform the homes we live in today into the low carbon homes of the future. The project provides impartial advice on insulating, using renewable sources of energy and ways to maximise the savings through energy-conscious habits and choices.
