Your 2030 Vision
18•03•2010The 'Your 2030 Vision' competition was judged by Rosemary Tingle from npower, Marlene Corbey for the Co-operative, Sarah cosentino for Wiltshire Council, Andrew Bennett for Swindon Borough council, Rosie Sims for Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and Shirley McCarthy for the wiltshire World Changers Network. They spent a long time looking at all the entries and finally came to almost unanimous agreement on the winners. The winners were:
primary school prize - Wylye Valley Primary school
youth community prize - Trowbridge college
adult community prize - Talent Express from Swindon
The prizes are to be presented individually by the sponsors over the next few weeks.
It was disappointing that there were no entries for the secondary school prize but thanks to all those who entered the competition. There were some really practical ideas that came out and all the judges congratulated the groups and schools on the work they had done.
