In conjunction with National Tree Week (26th November to 6th December) North Wilts Friends of the Earth is appealing to all landowners in the area for permission for the group to plant and maintain a variety of native trees, particularly the English Oak that has diminished considerably over recent years.
The group is interested in any sites, with room for a single tree upwards, depending on land available and are keen to maintain these trees with advise from our local experts.
North Wilts FoE is also keen to hear from anyone who may like to join them for this worthwhile project that could be expanded upon depending on volunteer numbers.
Please contact Peter Williams for all enquiries regarding tree planting and/or land offers.
